Now I understand that such a mechanic is unsuitable for a game like World of Warships, which is a world apart from NavyField in terms of gameplay. That was before Alpha Testing had even started. In fact, I suggested this myself a long time ago for World of Warships, coming fresh from NavyField, but I was a complete forum noob back then. It takes a lot of practice to master, and is something that I cannot imagine we will find in anything that isn't a Korean game. The mouse is only there for you to set your ship's bearing. Past the early stages of progression, you will be expected to start using the more difficult mechanic, which we call 'manual aim', and is something all players must learn unless they wish to stay a terrible player forever. You use the W and S keys to adjust gun elevation (which determines range) and A, D, Q and E to adjust turret transverse. ![]() There is point-and-click firing mechanic available, which we call ' auto aim', but it gives your guns terrible dispersion. No point, aim and click like in World of Warships. ![]() If you've ever played NavyField (somewhat extensively) you'll know that in order to aim, you must transverse your turrets and adjust elevation using your keyboard. ![]()
